The challenge.  Receiving an inquiry from the Estonian Tax and Customs Board is rarely a welcome event — even when a company has done nothing wrong, the process of responding correctly requires care and precision. Several of Equiton’s clients found themselves in this position, facing inquiries covering labour costs, vendor agreements, and partnerships. An incomplete or poorly structured response risks escalating scrutiny.

What Equiton did.  The team managed the response process for each case: reviewing the underlying transactions, preparing the submissions, and ensuring that every response was accurate, well-structured, and fully addressed the Board's questions. Equiton handled the process so that clients could focus on their operations rather than the inquiry.

The result.  Every inquiry was closed without further investigation or follow-up action from the Board. For the clients involved, what began as a source of concern ended without consequence.
